Personal Entry Stardate 2025.125 (May 5 2025)

I have 6 hours to finish my day, I am in a library in an undisclosed location, it is currently 3pm and I plan to finish my day at 9.00pm.

Current Issue

I am trying to grow my website (a startup newsletter) into a profitable enterprise. However, I am currently stuck in my view count on my website. My analytics page has shown just 2 views per day. Based on reading the book the The Ski Slope Strategy, I have published 5/16 Bottom Of the Funnel articles (refer more in the book regarding this). However, this tactic is not working as I should receiving 50 articles per day. I am building my newsletter as it would be the platform to market any of my apps. I believe in a zero budget marketing as I haven't achieved product market fit. If you can't turn 1 dollar into 5 dollars, there is no point of accepting investor money. I am also keen on not relying on Search Engine Optimization, as Google's algorithms are unpredictable. I need a solution.

The Solution

I was lost for a while, upon much reflection and clarification, after not doing anything for 30 minutes, I decided to ChatGPT the problem. The problem is website is not being indexed by Google's algorithms as much of my content is stuck in the year 2024. The solution would be to gain more "backlinks" that refer my site back as these sites have more credible reputation. Therefore I have decided to make a post on LinkedIn and Reddit that refers my domain to increase my website reputation.
