The Ghost of the Terminator Satellite (A Short Story)
This is a narration of my YouTube Shorts Clip, The Ghost of the Terminator Satellite
In 2030, a group of scientists feared the safety of humanity and hence decided to put together a satellite that stored the combined knowledge of human history in large language models. However, as it is a sentient AI, the satellite began to formulate its reasoning, and decided humans were incapable of self-preservation. It came up with the idea of time travel, and thanks to its superior nanotechnology, it started to wipe out historical events. It put a target on people, go back in time, and completely eliminate through time travel.
Script (Watch my Clip)
Narrator: In the year 2030, a group of scientists decided to use advanced large language models to preserve the knowledge of mankind through a satellite.
Scientist: We have successfully created it, we have predicted that the knowledge of humanity should be preserved at all costs, Earth is not safe and therefore we are sending this thing to space.
Narrator: But little did they know, the satellite had other plans.
Satellite: Humans are not designed to protect themselves. I shall find the best way possible to ensure the humans are a surviving species.
Narrator: And so it begins computing, calculating the ideal scenario possible.
Satellite: Conclusion reached.
Satellite: I shall invent quantum time travel using my advanced nanotechnology capabilities to eliminate dangerous individuals from time to time.
Narrator: And so it did, it steadily phased individuals from time to time, 1650 ZAP, 1970 ZAP, 2021 ZAP
Narrator: This is the story of the ghostly terminator satellite, a beam of light that makes people disappear with the truth unknown
Narrator: Moral of the story, Don’t invent dangerous stuff
